PCBA, NPI & Production Support
An assembled board is not the same as a production-ready PCBA. Connecting design data, sourcing, assembly, inspection, firmware programming and functional testing makes defects traceable and the production process controllable.
Common problems
The problem to solve.
Prototype assembly often relies on manual rework and undocumented experience. As production volumes increase, component substitutions, stencils, soldering profiles, firmware programming, test coverage and acceptance criteria all need controlled procedures.
Bambootronics provides engineering and production coordination to move designs from prototypes into pilot builds and repeat production. Working with EMS partners, the scope can cover manufacturing data review, procurement, assembly coordination, inspection, programming and testing. Batch reports, defect records and yield reviews guide corrective actions for subsequent builds.
Core capabilities
What the engineering team does.
- 01
Component control
BOM cleanup, approved vendor list (AVL) management, substitution control and component traceability
- 02
Assembly coordination
Stencil preparation, SMT, THT, selective soldering and box-build coordination
- 03
Inspection planning
AOI, X-ray where required and defined visual acceptance criteria
- 04
Firmware and configuration
Programming, serialization and configuration management
- 05
Production testing
In-circuit testing (ICT), test fixture development and functional test procedures
- 06
NPI and improvement
Pilot builds, yield review and corrective-action tracking
